In the last light of day, a sliver of sunset falls through a skylight into the Dunhuang grottoes and settles on the ancient murals. There it blends with centuries-old pigments into a cool, weathered tone, like the colors of time itself. Moved by that stillness, Elsa brought it to life in fiery mandarin garnet and deep, layered blues.
