This brooch is called “Lian Li Zhi”, which originates from a Chinese love oath: “On high, we’d be two lovebirds flying wing to wing, On earth, two trees with branches twined from spring to spring (translated by Xu Yuanchong).”

It is a wish that all lovers in the world could end up together and that everyone could find their own true love. 

In this work of wearable art, Elsa utilises lightweight and malleable titanium to create a voluminous jewellery sculpture depicting a whimsical and detailed flower. This creation is set with an astounding coloured diamond of 7.95ct and a 23.79ct sapphire.
