Many years ago, a close friend collected three black opals from Lightning Ridge, Australia, from ELSA JIN.

Before her daughter’s graduation from New York University, she wished to mark that moment with a piece that could hold the light of youth. Opal feels like a medium shaped by time—light enters, disperses, refracts, and gathers again within.
